Scott Westerman makes theatre and film in Chicago. He teaches for Writers Theatre and The Theatre School at DePaul. He recently created and directed the award-winning web series Hamlet & Ophelia. He’s directed stage productions for The Artistic Home, City Lit, Citadel, beyond this point, Barter Theatre, Stage Left, American Theatre Company, Reverie, ChiArts, and The Smithsonian. As an actor, Scott has worked with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Ford’s Theatre, Everyman Theatre Company, the Warehouse Theatre, the Barter Theatre, Northlight Theatre, The Artistic Home, Chicago Dramatists, Strawdog Theatre Company, Lifeline Theatre, Stage Left Theatre, Apple Tree Theatre, A Crew of Patches, Mary Arrchie, Festival Theatre of Oak Park. Film credits include Machine Gun Preacher and Prison Break.
