Featuring: Matthias Doepke, Professor of Economics, Northwestern University and co-author of Love, Money, & Parenting: How Economics Affects the Way We Raise Our Kids
The family at the center of Sam Shepard’s Buried Child grapples with a changing America in an era of rapid growth for some of the population, but not all. As we watch them fight for self-preservation, questions arise about how we can achieve success in an America where the American Dream is a moving, evolving target. How do we prepare our children for success in a world where the definition of success constantly changes? Join us as we welcome Matthias Doepke (Northwestern University), who will share a presentation on how we, and our families, work toward a “New American Dream.” Seating is limited, RSVP for free today! From Page to Stage is generously sponsored by Randy L. and Melvin R. Berlin.
