His designs and original music have been seen in Chicago and regionally at Steep Theatre Company (where he is an ensemble member), Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Victory Gardens Theater, Jackalope Theatre Company, First Floor Theater, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse and Jacob’s Pillow Dance. Thomas serves as Artistic Curator of The Boxcar at Steep Theatre, programming twice-weekly free performances of music, comedy, storytelling, literary events, lectures and more. He teaches design at Columbia College Chicago and DePaul University and is a member of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association.
