Sara O'Connor

Sara made a 40-year career in non-profit professional theater, including that of artistic as well as management functions and translated 11 French plays. Nearly 30 years were devoted to management of such regional theaters as Theatre Company of Boston, the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and the Milwaukee Repertory Theater (Managing Director 1974-1995). She fostered international touring and collaboration and served as President of both Theatre Communications Group and League of Resident Theatres. In 1994, she was ordained as a Soto Zen Buddhist priest and is presently resident priest at the Milwaukee Zen Center.
