Sade’ May is a professional director and theatre educator from Chicago. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, she has worked around the city since a teenager. Her most recent directing credit includes Sister Act (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre) and Legally Blonde (AD, Beverly Theatre Guild), along with numerous educational shows including a Illinois state winning devised work of the Tomi Adeyemi novel “Children of Blood and Bone”. Outside of directing, she is a teaching artist for Facets (Film), Congo Square Theatre, Governors State University, Northwestern NHSI, and Writers Theatre. Outside of theatre and film, she loves doing music. She plays over ten instruments and now works with many on the rise Chicagoland artists in her spare time!
