Robert Belushi

At Writers Theatre: The Lion in Winter

Comes to Writers Theatre direct from Las Vegas, where he was performing with The Second City, Las Vegas in their new hit revue. He has performed improvisation and sketch comedy throughout Chicago, most notable as an understudy for The Second City on tour, at the 10 Theater, in the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival and the Chicago lmprov Festival. Other theatre credits include: Marty in Ellen Fairey's Girl, 20 with Serendipity Theater Collective (World and West Coast Premiere) and as Warren in This Is Our Youth with Pine Box Theatre (remounted at the Theater on the Lake). Film credits include: RiffRaff (Best Supporting Actor, Tenerife International Film Festival) and The Christians (Splitpillow). Belushi graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Film Studies with honors and The School at Steppenwolf, Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
