At Writers Theatre: To the Green Fields and Beyond
He wrote three South American plays- Bolivia 1984, Dirty Dishes 1985/6, and the Columbian Cousin 1987- which were produced at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and at the Boulevard, Soho in London. Since then, Dirty Dishes has been in constant production in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. Since then he has written extensively for television, which inluded contributing to the BBC's Emmy award-winning sketch show Smack the Pony. He has just completed a play about the life of playwright Ben Johnson and is currently working on a stage adaptation of the 1942 classic To Be or Not to Be from Sam Mendes's theatre company, Scamp.
