Our New Home

Writers Theatre is thrilled to move into our new theatre center, designed by internationally renowned Studio Gang Architects led by Founder and Design Principal Jeanne Gang, and the related $34 million On to a New Stage Campaign. Our new home enhances your experience at the Theatre and our ability to bring even more sophisticated, high-quality theatrical productions to our tens of thousands of patrons, including the 11,500 Chicagoland students Writers Theatre currently reaches each year, while contributing to the economic vitality of downtown Glencoe and its many businesses. The new theatre center is a vibrant cultural destination for the entire Chicagoland community, and indeed, the nation.
