Her frequently Joseph Jefferson-nominated costumes have been seen at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Court Theatre, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Northwestern University, Victory Gardens Theater, Pegasus Players, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Colorado Shakespeare Festival and many others. She designed Becky’s New Car, a Steve Dietz play, at Indiana Repertory Theatre. For 15 years she has designed Welcome Yule for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Zabriskie designs for dancers and has done so for The Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, River North Chicago Dance Company and Giordano’s Jazz Dance Theatre. She was founder and co-artistic director of the original Chicago Children’s Theatre, an American Alliance for Theatre and Dance Award-winner for which she designed sets and costumes for 25 productions.
