Mónica Hoth

Mónica Hoth is a dramaturg, puppeteer and cultural manager. She was born in Mexico City in 1958. Mónicais the recipient ofseveral awards, including National Literature Award INBA (2003) for authoring the play for young audiences, Martina and the Bird Men, the Regional Prize for Children's Literature for Alas de Mariposa (2005) and Past Time Was Not Always Better (2010) and a Citation of Excellence in the Art of Puppetry, Unima/Usa for History of Elf and Other Realities (1988). She has been a Fellow of the National and State Fonca in various modalities as well as Iberescena—in support for the X International Puppet Festival Of San Miguel de Allende (2013).
