Mia Vivens
At Writers Theatre: The Niceties

Mia Vivens (she/her/hers) is a poetess/mover/maker originally hailing from Columbus, OH. She is an alumna of Valparaiso University, having studied Theater and Dance. She has spent her artistic life exploring intersections of identity; specially focusing on the black & brown queer community. She has taught in schools all over the Chicagoland area, facilitating conversations on gender and sexuality. She works in the theater as an actor, director, dancer and choreographer. In Chicago she has worked at Victory Gardens, The MCA, The Fly Honeys and About Face Theatre Company.
