Miller is also a puppet designer whose recent credits include Willy Wonka (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), The Snow Queen (nominated for Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Puppet Design) (Victory Gardens Theater), The Cabaret Of Desire and The Ox-Herder's Tale (Blair Thomas and Company). Other projects include puppet design for Short Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night's Dream (Chicago Shakespeare Theater).
