Melissa is is a Charles Deering McCormick Distinguished Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University and author of the recently published book, "Don't Sweat the Technique - a Performer's guide to Hip-Hop and Rap."  A sought-after master teacher and voice coach, Melissa consulted on numerous productions, including the national tours of A Bronx Tale, Fiddler on the Roof, Miss Saigon, and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
