Lucas Garcia

Lucas Garcia (they/them) is a Chicago based writer and dramaturg from Albuquerque, NM. They are also Co-Director of Marketing and Communications for the Alliance of Latinx Theatre Artists and are a member of El Semillero, ALTA's Latinx playwriting circle. Lucas has worked as a dramaturg on Felons and Familias (Goodman Theatre, Theatre on the Lake), Columbinus (The Yard), Master Class, In The Next Room (TimeLine Theatre Company), Pass Over (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), Wit (The Hypocrites) and Lorca in New York (Chicago Dramatists). They have written for Rescripted, Third Coast Review, Howlround and American Theatre Magazine.
