About Diego Colon
Diego has been playing music in and around the Chicagoland area for 12 years and is very delighted to bring his brand of song to Writer’s Theatre. When he’s not playing with his band Diego Sol & The Metronomes, he can be seen onstage around the Chicago Theatre scene. Diego has previously played Navy Pier Grand Ballroom, Martyr’s, Hard Rock Cafe and The Elbo Room. He has brought his talents as a singer/songwriter to Chicago stage productions such as Deathscribe (Wildclaw Theater), Kitty Hawk (the House Theater in partnership with Miami’s Arsht Center) and The Grapes of Wrath (The Gift Theatre) for which he was awarded a Joseph Jefferson award for original music in a play.
