Kate DeVore is the founder and master trainer of Total Voice, Inc., which provides voice, speech, and presence coaching. She teaches at The School at Steppenwolf, Columbia College, and Acting Studio Chicago. Select coaching credits include Sweat, A Christmas Carol, Support Group for Men, The Wolves, A View from the Bridge, Uncle Vanya, Another Word for Beauty, Feathers and Teeth, The Jungle Book, and Sweet Bird of Youth (Goodman Theatre); And Then There Were None, Matilda, Mamma Mia!, Beauty and the Beast (Drury Lane). West Side Story (Lyric Opera Chicago); The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (Steppenwolf); and Small Mouth Sounds, Evening at the Talk House, The Opponent, Butcher of Baraboo, and Abigail’s Party (A Red Orchid Theatre).
