At Writers Theatre: The Niceties, Picnic ('08)
Judy Blue has been seen recently in the new play, The Actuary (Peninsula Players). Chicago credits include Romeo and Juliet, Richard III, The Winter's Tale (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Blind Date, Talking Pictures, House and Garden, A Little Night Music, Franks Home (Goodman Theatre), Gary, The Way West (Steppenwolf) and The Man Who Came to Dinner (Drury Lane). She has performed at Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Dramatists, CollaborAction, Theatre At the Center and Apple Tree, among others. A veteran of many tours she has also appeared at regional houses across the country including Dallas Theater Center, B Street Theatre, Syzygy, Theatre Three, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Stage West, Casa Manana and Henry Street In NY. She has workshopped new plays as both director and actor with Chicago Dramatists for over 25 years, and most recently directed for Clockwise Theatre and Concordia University. Television roles include Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. (NBC), and her audio book narration includes the Sleuth Sisters mystery series and the award-winning Myrtle Clover series. Judy is an Artistic Associate of Chicago Dramatists, The Shakespeare Project of Chicago and Syzygy Theatre. She is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
