Watkins is an alumnus of University of Michigan. He assisted Ron OJ Parson with Court Theatre’s production of The Mountaintop. Additional Chicago credits include Chicago Children’s Theatre, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, Black Ensemble Theater and Goodman Theatre. In the winter of 2016, Henri will return to Sarasota, Florida, to work again at the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson.
