Erik Friedman
At Writers Theatre: A Minister's Wife
He directed The Seafarer (Phoenix Theatre) and the opera Paul Bunyan (Miami University). Other recent projects include serving as Assistant Director for Amistad (Spoleto Festival USA) and Aida (Opera Omaha), as well as work with Steppenwolf Theatre Company. As an actor and singer, Friedman has worked with such theater and opera companies as Actors Theatre of Louisville, Maine State Music Theatre and Indianapolis Opera. He received his MFA in Directing from Indiana University, where he directed The Seagull, Side Man and Lobby Hero.
