Chicago credits include Weird Sister in Macbeth, Juliet in Short Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet, Pericles, (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Mother of Smoke (Walkabout Theater), A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre) and Year of the Rooster (Red Theater). Ladji is an actress working in theater, film, advertising, and art. She has performed in theaters all around Chicago and acted in Jennifer Reeder’s film Knives and Skin, which premiered at the Berlinale International Film Festival. She narrates and produces audiobooks while also lending her voice and recording expertise to art installations, video games, ad campaigns for global brands, nonprofits and apps. Her artwork is based in sound and performance. She was a resident artist for Links Hall for their Co-Mission series. This year she has been invited to be a resident at Art Farm Nebraska and is a 2021/22 Ragdale Foundation Fellowship recipient, where she will be making an experimental album.
