David Dastmalchian

At Writers Theatre: As You Like It, Othello

Dastmalchian is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University.  He also has been seen in Shattered Globe Theatre's Suddenly Last Summer. In Chicago, David has worked with companies including Caffeine Theatre (where he is an artistic associate), Collaboraction Theatre Company, the side project theatre company, TimeLine Theatre Company, Naked Eye, Goodman Theatre and others.

Television appearances include: Early Edition and commercials for Nintendo,Cingular and Best Buy. He recently completed work on the upcoming feature films, The Horsemen and The Dark Knight. Thanks to all the wonderful people at Writers Theatre and, of course, to my beautiful wife.
