At Writers Theatre: Vietgone, Reading of Saint Joan in collaboration with The Chicago Inclusion Project
An actor, singer and producer, Dan Lin is a native of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and The Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. While still in school, Dan appeared in Chicago Shakespeare Theatre’s Production of Julius Caesar. After graduating, he immediately signed with Gray Talent and was fortunate enough to join the cast of Mary Zimmerman’s The White Snake at Goodman Theatre, as well as Paramount Theatre’s Miss Saigon. Other Chicago theater credits include United Flight 232 (House Theatre of Chicago), Support Group for Men, King of the Yees, The World of Extreme Happiness (Goodman Theatre), Chimerica (Timeline Theatre) and The Three Musketeers (Lifeline). Regional theatre: American Hwangap (Interlochen Shakespeare Festival) and The White Snake (The Old Globe). Dan is an Executive Producer on the independent feature film Flora, where his portrayal of Matsudaira Basho won him a Best Supporting Actor award from Miami International Sci-Fi- Film Festival. FLORA has also received multiple awards across different festivals in America and Europe www.florathemovie.com. Other film and TV credits include guest star appearances on NBC’s Chicago PD and The Brave, as well as VO work for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s movie Skyscraper.
