Chris joined Writers Theatre in 2023 assisting Executive Director Kate Lipuma and Artistic Director Braden Abraham after spending his high school years attending student matinees and serving on the theatre’s Youth Council.
Chris graduated from Indiana University in 2022 where he studied theatre and public relations. Before joining Writers, he handled press relations and social media at Cathy Taylor Public Relations. Select clients include A Red Orchid Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Court Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, The Second City, and Writers Theatre. Prior to his work in Chicago, he served as the Director of Media Relations for The Journal of Business Venturing.
He is also the founder and head coach of Chris Sciortino Actors Studio, where he works with students of all ages teaching acting, singing, and audition preparation. To find out more about Chris’s other work, check out chrissciortino.com!
