To express our gratitude for joining Writers Theatre, we invited several lucky Subscribers and Members to attend a special dinner and mini-concert with the performers from our first show of the season, The Old Man and The Old Moon. In a private dining room at nearby Di Pescara, the soon-to-be audience members sat side-by-side with the artists of PigPen Theatre Co. getting to know them as individuals and as artists.
In addition to enjoying a delicious meal, attendees had the opportunity to hear Associate Artistic Director Stuart Carden share insights on his work with PigPen—after beginning the relationship as their professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
As a special treat, PigPen Theatre Co. performed their song “Bremen”—which is featured in the play—for all in attendance.
We’re always thrilled to introduce our audience and artists—both on and offstage, and look forward to providing more behind-the-scenes opportunities in the future!
