John Culbert

At Writers Theatre: Twelfth Night, Or What You Will, The Importance of Being Earnest, Arcadia, Sweet Charity

Recent credits include All My Sons, The Hard Problem, Man in the Ring (Court Theatre), Having Our Say, Two Trains Running, Objects in the Mirror (Goodman Theatre), Chimerica (Timeline Theatre) and Faceless (Northlight Theatre). He also designed Romeo and Juliet (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Argonautika (Lookingglass Theatre Company), Regina (Lyric Opera of Chicago) and Iphigenia at Aulis (Getty Villa). He has designed productions for the Singapore Repertory, Opera National du Rhin, Berkeley Rep, McCarter Theatre and the Shakespeare Theatre. He serves as the dean of The Theatre School at DePaul University.
