James Knight is an ensemble member of Williams Street Rep where he recently played the role of Merrick in The Elephant Man. New York Theater: Theater for New Audience, The Mint Theater Co., New York Classical Theater, TACT, West Side Theater and others. Regional Theater: The Old Globe, Denver Center, Portland Center Stage, Pioneer Theater Co., Two River Theater Co., Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, Hartford Stage, Milwaukee Rep, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Cape Playhouse, Kansas City Rep and others. James has extensive experience in new play development, helping to found the WSRep Reading Series as well as participating in the Colorado New Play Summit, The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and working for a number of years to produce and manage the WordBRIDGE Playwrights Laboratory as a member of Generous Company.
