At Writers Theatre: The Last Match, Parade, Hedda Gabler, The Letters

Ms. Binder is a Chicago-based designer and has designed lighting for Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Victory Gardens Theater, Court Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Her opera designs include work with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Opera Theatre, San Francisco Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, New York City Opera, Seiji Ozawa Music Festival (Matsumoto, Japan), Grand Genève Opera, Theatre an der Wien and Houston Grand Opera. Recent designs include Mother of the Maid and The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley (Northlight Theatre), The Agitators (Alabama Shakespeare Festival) and Her Honor Jane Byrne (Lookingglass Theatre Company). She is the Head of Lighting Design at The Theatre School at DePaul University.
