Jess Godwin has jumped back and forth between theatre and the music industry. She can't decide which world she loves more, so she's currently working on paving her own path down the middle. Chicago credits include Shining Lives and Snapshots (Northlight Theatre); Gypsy, Sunday in the Park with George, A Wonderful Life (Porchlight Music Theatre); Carousel (Court Theatre); Lady Madeline 
(Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Wild Party, Songs for a New World, The Life (Bohemian Theatre Ensemble). As a songwriter, 2015 was a great year of music placements (Dance Moms, Michelle Phan), exciting duets (Kristin Chenoweth, Chloe Lukasiak), and DIY videos (Godwin Anthology). The biggest win of 2016 so far has been realizing that she finally fell into the group of friends that she always wanted. Godwin is signed to Razor & Tie Direct, LLC as a writer.
