Dwight Sora is honored and humbled to join Writers Theatre in bringing VIETGONE to its stage. As an actor, he has appeared in Cymbeline (Strawdog Theatre), The Three Musketeers (Lifeline Theatre) and 12 Angry Men (Raven Theatre), and understudied the Midwest Premieres of Wild Boar and Durango (Silk Road Rising) and After the Quake(Steppenwolf Theatre Company). A 20-year student of the Japanese martial art of aikido, Dwight has provided fight choreography for Company (Mercury Theater Chicago), Wild Boar (Silk Road Rising),  Pacific Overtures (Porchlight Music Theatre), and Peter Pan (Theatre-Hikes), and worked as an onstage combatant in Romeo et Juliet (Lyric Opera Chicago). Dwight is a native of River Forest, Illinois and a graduate of the University of Chicago.
